Final call for free application
Master and PhD students are invited to apply for the (free) EPIcenter Summer School ‘Healthy living and happy ageing’. This year’s edition will be held from August 20-31 in Leiden, the Netherlands and will be organised by Leyden Academy. In a two-week program the participants will go through the full cycle of state of the art innovation methods to develop an innovation in healthy living and happy ageing. The application deadline is June 17, 23:59 hrs.
Does your organisation have a challenge for the students?
Developing citizen-centric solutions that enable seniors to live a healthy, active and enjoyable life – this is the aim of the EIT Health Summer School EPIcenter. In twelve days the participants will have the unique possibility to tackle a challenge using modern innovation techniques, like Co-Creation, Design Thinking, Rapid Prototyping, and Business Model Innovation. Supported by a broad variety of coaches and mentors the participants will validate their idea with a functional prototype and a tested business model. We welcome corporations and organizations to submit their challenges before July 1, 2018.

Impression of the 2017 summer school
In September 2017 the EIT Health Summer School ‘euVENTION’ took place in Heidelberg, Germany. A select group of 36 motivated and creative students with diverse backgrounds from 12 different countries came together to work on business challenges. Such as: how do we make alarm sensors for elderly attractive and portable? How do we ensure that people start living healthier? How can we prevent seniors from falling?
