Since 1 July 2022, Paul van der Voorst has joined the team of Leyden Academy as Operations Manager. Paul has a background in finance and control. He has earned his spurs at TU Delft, among others, where he worked as Finance Manager at the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering. There he was responsible for the planning and control cycle. Before that, he worked for the Social Insurance Bank for eleven years in several positions (senior business controller, business controller).
His expertise in the financial field in combination with knowledge of the academic world and money flows makes Paul a great match with Leyden Academy. He is responsible for professionalization of business operations including the IT and HR department.
