PhD programme
By means of the PhD programme, the Leyden Academy financially supports outstanding young researchers in the field of clinical science or health management. This program is set up to counter the fact that research in ageing, compared to other disciplines, faces a lack of young scientists, both in terms of number and mobility.
The PhD students work at selected training centers that are internationally recognised in their field and are experienced in the training of PhD students.
Currenly, there are three PhD students associated with the Leyden Academy: Frouke Engelaer, Yuliya Mysyuk amd Herbert Rolden. All are doing research from their own discipline. For more information please click on their names.
